Brisket Gravy 

 Instructions

  • Carefully remove meat after baking. Pour drippings (liquid) into container and freeze to remove fat easily.
  • Blend onions and garlic in food processor or blender.
  • After fat is removed from gravy, add onion mixture.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of corn starch in 1/4 cup water. Bring gravy to a boil, add corn starch mixture slowly to gravy on top of stove while stirring.
  • Simmer for at least 4 minutes to cook the corn starch and thicken the gravy. If too rich, add about 1/2 cup water.
